• Renew, Replace or Update:- You can now Renew your license using your myVicRoads account by reusing your currently existing photo. If you wish to take a new image, you need to visit VicRoads Customer Service Centre and pay for your renewal. If your licence is not eligible, you won't be getting a renewal online. You have to visit VicRoads Customer Service Centre for the same. Check whether your license is updated or not. You will be getting a mail regarding license renewal notice four to six weeks before your license is about to expire. Also, to stay up to date, make sure your address details are up to date.

• Your Ls:- Here, you'll get to know how to get your car learner permit and your responsibilities before driving for the first time. For learners permit, you need to take a Learner Permit Test Online and if it isn't possible online, you need to go to the VicRoads Customer Service Centre to give the test personally.

• Your Ps:- After your learner permit and when you have completed all the practice sessions, you can now apply for a probationary driver license and learn all the restrictions used on you while driving. Before applying for a probationary driver license, you must be 18 years old, and you should complete 120 hours of supervised driving. And you should have done your Hazard Perception Test.

There are license fees; New, reissue or renewal for three years is $84.00 and for ten years is $287.80; for New, reissue for four years is $112.00 and for Free Licence Scheme which is applicable for eligible drivers under 25, is free.

• Evidence of identity:- The documents required for a legal license is evidence of existence, i.e. passport or full Australian birth certificate – originals, not photocopies or certified copies, proof of use of that identity in the community. i.e. Medicare or bank card, evidence of Australian residence, and if you have changed your name anytime - evidence of change of name.

• Licence testing and safe operating system:- During the test, all the safety measures will be taken care of in hygienic conditions. All the people giving the driving test have to wear a face mask, and without it, the driving test won't be taken.

• Hardship and exceptional circumstances appointments:- You can apply for an exemption appointment a maximum of 2 months before you reach the eligible age for that appointment.
